New Jersey EASE
Easy Access Single Entry
St. Francis Senior Services Department has been designated by the Ocean County
Office of Senior Services as an access site for the New Jersey EASE Program.
NJ EASE is a state and county partnership which promotes the well-being of older
New Jerseyans, age 60 and over, by providing easy, local access to services and programs.
Our goal is to foster the independence and dignity of older adults
by making it easier to choose services.
NJ EASE access sites will provide, or arrange for, the following core consumer services:
Information and Referrals on a wide range of programs and services, such as social and recreational programs, transportation, homemaker services, home-delivered meals, pharmaceutical assistance to the aged and disabled, etc.; referrals to other agencies, and help contacting them if needed.
One-Stop Eligibility Screening for a wide range of programs such as: PAAD, Lifeline utility assistance, and others.
Outreach Visits in the home, if needed, to provide eligibility screening and assessment.
A Senior Advisory Committee, made up of elected and appointed
members, meets once a month to inform and advise on the implementation of the
Senior Program objectives. Meetings are announced in the Senior Center.
The meetings are open to all interested persons.
